Suzanne is an author, editor, stay-at-home mommy and coffee enthusiast. She has a passion for observing God at work in people’s lives, including her own, and telling those stories. She’s the mom of four young children—two boys and two girls—and wife to Kevin, who is a Family Pastor and her personal Superman.

Suzanne worked as an editor of Clubhouse and Clubhouse Jr. magazines for 10 years, and has written for Focus on the Family, David C Cook, Zondervan, Tyndale and Harvest House. She specializes in writing inspirational non-fiction, curriculum, Bible notes and magazine articles. When she’s not writing, Suzanne can be found sweeping up Cheerios, folding laundry, drinking coffee, looking for the missing shoe, and being entertained by her children’s antics. She is also a Bible college graduate, a lover of God and the Church, an extroverted introvert, a musical theater fanatic and an escape room enthusiast.

  
Suzanne, Kevin and their young family live in Bakersfield, California, where they enjoy frequently escaping to the mountains and the ocean.

Her most recent project, Grit and Grace: Devotions for Warrior Moms, was published in 2019 and is available to order from Amazon. Suzanne co-wrote the book with her college roommate, Gretta, to encourage moms of young children and point them to the unfailing truth of God's Word. Suzanne is also the author of Expectant Parents: Preparing Together For the Journey of Parenthood (Tyndale, 2014) and four other books.
